Zimbabwe's Politics Prophecy or Predictions

 I wrote on the following before the coup, the renewal of ZIDERA sanctions and Morgan Tsvangirayi's death in February 2018. This is not a prophecy but events that lead to a predictable end.I wrote those events on my blog and history has proved me right on the following.

Saviour Tyson Kasukuwere

'The political commissar has been accused by both the war veterans and youths, as out of touch with the grassroots of the party.

He might be the saviour of the party or as destructive as  Mike Tyson." I wrote last year.

 OUTCOME: 

Saviour Tyson Kasukuwere is no longer Zanu-PF political commissar. He fled into exile after the coup. 

Sanctions Extension

"The USA ZIDERA  sanctions on Zimbabwe have been routinely been renewed in February since 2001. The sanctions are bound to be renewed again by a fool of a President,  Donald Trump.

It is also good to note that we sent our fools to the USA, in the form of Nelson Chamisa,  Tendai Biti,  Dewah Mavhunga and that diehard Rhodesian Godwin. The four advised the USA not remove the sanctions but to tighten them, despite us having got rid of Robert Gabriel Mugabe.

The result of the treacherous action by those four will be felt after the USA President renew and tighten the sanctions on Zimbabwe. Each and every 14 million Zimbabweans will continue to suffer under those sanctions." I said that.

OUTCOME

The sanctions were renewed at the behest of the MDC T and Rhodesian sympathisers.

Nelson Chamisa Leadership Grab

"It is a fools month and the MDC cannot be seen to be left out. Chamisa has unilaterally declared himself the de facto successor to the ailing Tsvangirai.He is the president of the MDC and the broken coalition. Mudzuri, Khupe and other congress elected leaders have been relegated to the backseat.

This month is going to end up badly for the opposition, we wait to see which fool will lead the MDC and the clueless coalition." I wrote.

OUTCOME

Nelson Chamisa lied his way to the MDC T leadership. He now is the de facto leader of the MDC alliance

Mandie Chimene

"While one heroine was dancing with the devil, this other heroine from Manicaland was burning the chair she was sitting on. She could see the smoke but could not identify where the fire was coming from.
The smoke is still blowing but our heroine has ungracefully retreated to her honourable office. It is a month of utter madness." I said that last year.

OUTCOME

Mandi is now in exile and the person she insulted at a rally is now the President of Zimbabwe.

Of Chamisa, Lies and Rhetorics

Buses or Bullet trains at Mbare Musika Terminal

You might have heard of bullet trains, rural airports, tomato or is it potato factories being sold by Nelson Chamisa at MDC rallies. It is all lies and he is like a madman drunk on elections rhetorics. He is not alone.

The white supremacists' media has also been churning their traditional elections rhetoric on social media and other platforms. Here are some in short.

The Voters Intimidation Rhetoric
Voters are said to be forced to go and vote for ZANU Pf. This is one very tired rhetoric which we can trace to the first elections of 1980. ZANU Pf was accused of bussing thousands of voters from within and outside the borders of Zimbabwe.  It was a lie then and it is a lie today.

The Banned Rally Rhetoric
The so-called independent press will be in overdrive on percieved banned rallies.

For the record rallies cannot be banned, you can be denied to hold a rally at a certain time or place due to inadequate security and availability of police to maintain law and order.It is that simple,  so my piece of advice is, book your rally in time.

The Biometric Voters Registration Rhetoric
The opposition and the so-called civic societies are poised to raise doubt and mistrust of the biometric registration system. It is routine rhetoric which is calculated to make the elections not seem to be free and fair.

It is important for every Zimbabwean to understand the source of the rhetoric.The press and the white sponsored civic organisations had the  Biometric Voters Roll issue on the table. They wanted UNDP to fund, source and deliver the Biometric Voters Roll equipment on behalf of the Government of Zimbabwe.

 The Government of Zimbabwe refused to be relegated to a spectator role in the election process. It went on and bought the BVR system, but this was not accepted by the opposition.

The Stupid And Uneducated Rural Voters Rhetoric
The constituencies will be flooded by the pseudo civic societies that will come to teach the "illiterate " people, on, not only how to vote but who to vote for.  The civic societies have been exposed as an extension of the opposition campaign team. Their role is to scuttle and unsettle the ruling party's hold in the constituency.

The Traditional Leadership Partisan Rhetoric
The press once again raising the issue of traditional leaders as political and partisan. The so-called independent media and white sponsored civic organisations have failed to understand, respect and understand the importance and role of the traditional leaders. Traditional leaders are the spiritual owners of the land and rural space.

These traditional leaders offer guidance and leadership to their respective community. The traditional leaders have a role to play spiritual, economic, social and political. It is their sacred duty to the community.
This critical role of traditional leaders has been relegated to the backseat firstly by the former Rhodesian settlers and now by their sponsored opposition parties,  their press and civic organisations.
It will go a long way if these white supremacists sponsored media, opposition parties and civic organisations give the traditional leaders the respect that they deserve. It might be the key to gain respect and voters in the rural areas.

The Zanupf Factions Rhetoric
The Zanupf factions rhetoric is now gone since the demise of G40. The factional wars within the party have not affected the grassroots supporters. I will say safely that the faction may be in the heads of the opposition parties leaders.The factions are played out in the press and on social media,  they are not real.

The Rhetorics And The 2018 Elections

Zimbabweans should now be aware of the sources of the rhetorics and must focus now on the 2018 elections. The elections are a landmark in the history of our nationhood, they are as crucial and critical as the 1980 elections. The enemy is still the Rhodesians. They have metaphorically disguised itself into the MDC in its various forms and with its Shona and Ndebele surnames. It is imperative that every Zimbabwean vote against the white supremacists' regime change agents and instead vote for the progressive and revolutionary party.

The Madness of March

MADNESS IN THE PRESS

Robert Mugabe has all of sudden become a darling of the white supremacist press. Every paper and TV wants to interview him. Robert Mugabe is a great showman and speaker, he likes the limelight on him and he is basking foolishly in it.

Robert Mugabe was a pariah to the western press until the coup,(which was never a coup) in November 2017. Now the BBC, CNN and the other media houses want to hear his perfect Queen's English. All of sudden the hated landgrabber and legendary pain in the neck of every white person is now a star of sorts, that is, to the western media.

The frog has just turned into a Prince.

That is absolute madness.

MDC  MARCH MADNESS

The madness does not end in the press. We have a guy having some serious hallucinations of tomatoes flying from Murehwa to Brussels. This guy has also had dreams of bullet trains rushing and chasing each other from Harare to Plumtree. These juvenile dreams have been seen fit and proper to be announced at rented crowd rallies.

The dreamer wish to lure supporters by his dreams!!!

Our dreamer is none other than the self-imposed MDC alliance leader Mr.Nelson Chamisa.

The dreams are absolute madness!!!

MATABELE MADNESS IN MDC

Thokozani Khupe fired Nelson Chamisa from MDC T. She proceeded to steal the name from Chamisa and company. People are now convinced that the T in MDCT stands for Thokozani. When I say "people" I mean the people in Matabeleland.

 This madness will never end well for the MDC T. It means that the MDC alliance vote is split and the voters are confused. The MDC has rigged the elections in ZANU Pf favour, they have made sure that they lose the elections.\

It is March Madness

MADNESS STOPPED AT THE CONCOURT

The constitutional court has stopped the madness in industry. This Madness was started by none other than Nelson Chamisa when he represented ZUWA Petroleum. Thousands of workers were dismissed without notice or compensation following Chamisa win.

The constitutional court has set aside all the dismissals and ordered employers to compensate all employees unfairly dismissed.

It is madness reversed.

MARRIAGE MADNESS

On a lighter note and as a parting shot. Is marriage a game? This questioned is aimed at the young and the young at heart. Let us look at the Olinda and Tytan marriage......it is the real March Madness.

The Fool of the Month

I rarely write more than two blog posts per month,  but circumstances have forced me to write. I am a fool of the month.  It is still  February remember.  I am not the only

fool of the month,  l think that boy from Chitungwiza can claim that title from me.

NELSON CHAMISA
Look here there are fools but Nelson Chamisa beats them all. He is that guy that just declared himself the President of MDC -T. To this guy, the MDC-T constitution is just a piece of paper. It is just a piece of paper that a boy from Chitungwiza can read upside down and proceed to tear to pieces.

He is the guy or fool that on the very day that the founding President of MDC-T died went on to convene a national council meeting to conveniently confirm himself as the MDC-T president. It is was not only crude and rude gesture but the stupidest thing to happen in February. This guy is a fool!!

WHEN A FOOL LEAD   FOOLS

Nelson Chamisa foolishness did not end at Harvest House. He did the unthinkable. He hired his local hooligans from Harare to cause havoc at the rural home of Morgan Tsvangirai. It was a stupid thing to do.

AN ORGY OR FUNERAL
I have been informed that the funeral of Morgan Tsvangirai turned out to be a fools orgy. It was a February funeral and fool's funeral. What else can you expect from a hired funeral party? If your bus hired prostitutes and ideological empty mercenaries (mahwindi), you will have created a recipe for an orgy.

OBERT GUTU
Here is another fool from the same party. It is surprising that Obert Gutu has never realised that MDC-T party was a violent party. I mean if you remember the Elton Mangoma assault at Harvest House, or the violence in Bulawayo sometime last year.

Can we say the violence against Khupe and Mwonzora in Buhera was Obert Gutu's Damascus moment? It is stupid to assume that Obert Gutu did not know of the subtle violence on all Zimbabweans that the  MDC-T invited sanctions had on this country.

Of Morgan Tsvangirai And Chimurenga

 Lonely and Brave At last

Morgan passed on somewhere in South Africa. He was alone without his wife or mother. he was alone without his not so loyal party members. He was alone without those settler farmers who had created him. He was alone. This was the bravest point in his life where he was really alone and had to fight his fight on his own.


Morgan has always had people propping him up, either as a fulltime politician or as a union activist. It is this weakness the white settler farmers exploited in 1999. He was the perfect puppet, innocent and politically immature.The man made a perfect leader to head a movement that would stop the land redistribution and reverse the gain made by fellow blacks against the white settler farmers. He was anti- Chimurenga and anti-revolutionary. Zimbabwean history has already judged him.

Hero Or Traitor

Morgan was not a self-made man. He was a man who needed a" lot of hand-holding" to borrow that forgotten USA ambassador said in those Wikileaks documents. He was the guy who chickened out of going to fight the Chimurenga. He could not be brave enough to cross the Mozambican border. He could not sacrifice his life to free his motherland.it has been said that he was not brave enough to stand for Member of Parliament in his own home constituency.

It is the paragraph above that tarnishes Morgan bid to lay on the National Heroes Acre, Manicaland Provincial Heroes Acre or Buhera District Heroes Acre. He does not deserve that honour. We should be proud that at least he will be honoured by his family and those who believe he contributed to their lives on a personal level.


 We have here, a man who in his words could fight for property rights for the white settler. He was prepared to sacrifice our lives by inviting sanctions on his motherland. Let us not forget that he was not always alone in his quest to take on a revolution and reverse it. You have to remember people like Ncube, Mangoma Biti, Gutu and of late Chamisa, who hang around him.

Chimurenga Is Forever

 It is important that we as Zimbabweans draw lessons from Morgan life and death. Chimurenga is bigger than all the white settlers purse. It is bigger than one man's ego. It is bigger than all the party that will be formed. It is bigger than one man's name or brand.

Death has to come. It had to happen to all of us, it was only a matter of when. It is our tradition that we mourn with the bereaved but let us not forget the story around Morgan Tsvangirai. The true story.

May his troubled soul rest in peace.

Of Fools,Sanctions and February

Tradition and routine of February calls

We are as Zimbabweans have been accustomed to some routines. This February will be a special one to me and to other political commentators.

It is a month traditional called "mwedzi webenzi" that roughly translates into "the fool's month". In this month all traditions are suspended or ignored. You can even go and work in the fields on the weekly traditional "chisi".

It is the shortest month on the calendar but let us check-out what is going on.

The 21st February Movement

It is official. The 21st of February is now a national holiday.Is it coincident that it is Robert Mugabe's birthday?

The 21st February Movement does still exist somewhere? I think it is a day for our nation and youth to remember Robert Mugabe as a statesman. I believe it is a great honour to his legacy.

We will have to see what the holiday will have in store for us.

The Fools of the Month

It is a month of the fool. We have people like Chamisa lying that if MDC wins Donald Trump will give Zimbabwe $15 billion dollars. He was talking to people who he believed were fools like him. Let him be the fool he wants to be!!

There was the MDC Alliance playing the fool with their supporters.The alliance will not hold primaries. I believe the ailing MDC leader will draw names of candidates from his hat. Life will never get as foolish as this!

Then we hear that foolish gang called G40 is regrouping. It is hoping to jump on the coalition bandwagon and play the fool. Can a full grown professor be foolish to join a circus and be the chief clown?

 I understand those bicycles bought from the ZIMDEF funds are now in but they have the wrong picture. The Professor was right about the party but he was just on the wrong side of the ZANU Pf coin.

 It is a month of fools.

 Zimbabwe let us wait for the Ides of March.

The Myths of Gukurahundi and Mthwakazi

GUKURAHUNDI THE TRUTH
I had to say something which I know will draw a lot of criticism from some of my friends. Gukurahundi to me was the loss of one of my nephews in Bulawayo.

 He family name was Mwatenga. He was a fluent Ndebele And Zulu speaker and his father's origin tribe is Ndau and his mother's origin was  Swazi. He was not killed by the Fifth Brigade but was killed by people who believed that they were better Ndebeles than him.

 These are the type of Ndebeles that we have on social media. These are the Ndebeles who identify themselves by geographical boundaries. These are those animals that caused the Gukurahundi disturbances in the 80s in the first place. These type of animals will cause another disturbance if they are given a chance to organise and mobilise.

We must not allow tribalism to undermine our nationhood, peace and security.

GUKURAHUNDI THE MYTH
People speak of Gukurahundi as a genocide. It was not.The Matabeleland had been infiltrated by apartheid South Africa sponsored Super Zapu elements.The purpose of Super Zapu was to create a buffer zone in Matabeleland. The people who made up of Super ZAPU were mercenaries on the apartheid SouthAfrica payroll. There were not Ndebeles, but a collection of trained and armed men.

It is wrong to believe that the so-called dissidents were all of Ndebele origin. It is also wrong to believe that only Ndebeles were targeted in the Gukurahundi disturbances, as I have pointed out above, in my nephew's case.




MTHWKAZI THE TRUTH AND THE MYTH
The truth about Mthwakazi, or whatever they call it, is that it exists in the mind of the sick minds of tribalists. You cannot fit it anywhere in Zimbabwe or in southern Africa this Muthwakazi.It does not even have historical proof that it ever existed outside the mind of the psychotic mind of the Ndebele tribalist.

I challenge the tribalists to place the so-called Muthwakazi in between Mapungubwe and Zimbabwe.It is a madman exercise to create a country in his mind and then wish the whole world to live and believe his madness.

GUKURAHUNDI AND NOW
It is a  grave mistake to sell Gukurahundi and Mthwakazi cards to the opposition parties supporters.People of Zimbabwe are aware of the intention and origin of the lies on Gukurahundi and Mthwakazi. Gukurahundi was not a genocide and Mthwakazi does not exist.

Let the truth be told.

The Fall of an elected dictator

RUNAWAY TRAIN

I can safely say this country was like a runaway train. Yes Zimbabwe, with Robert Mugabe in charge, was a train that had suddenly gone loose. No controls, no one in charge. 

We were on a runaway train until the palace coup.The interface rallies were like adding fuel to a runaway train. Something had to give!! The soldiers brought the runaway train to a screeching halt.

THE COUP AND THE CRIMINALS

The criminals around the former president of Zimbabwe were the target of the so-called palace coup. The criminals were the gang that had been elected and mandated to represent the people of Zimbabwe in parliament.

 These criminals had assumed superpowers. They were literally unstoppable and rude. The ruling party had been hijacked. Ethics and principles were thrown out of the window.


IT IS A ZANU THING

I will always take the coup (which technical was not a coup) as a political manoeuvre. It was a process of reinventing ZANU-PF as a revolutionary party. The executive arm of government had to rearrange and recall the party leadership in order assert and reinforce the founding principles of Chimurenga. The principles and ideology had been hijacked by a cabal of wayward individuals within the ruling party. It was the brave and bold move by people in the rank and file of Zanupf.

REASONS FOR THE CELEBRATION 

The people were celebrating the ouster of Robert Mugabe for very different reasons. The reasons for the coup was lost in the noise and colour of the crowds. Some were celebrating for a return to Rhodesia, some were celebrating the fall of Grace, some were celebrating the fall of an elected dictator and some just wanted to shake the hands of the soldiers. It was a crazy crowd.

The army reassured the sober people in the crowd that the purpose of the palace coup was to restore the liberation struggle legacy. The reason for the coup was to bring order to the ruling party and nothing else!!

ZANU PF ON THE ROLL 

The coup has not only given ZANU-PF a new leadership, it has given the party a new impetus. The opposition is afraid of losing the next elections. The coup did not work in favour of the opposition. The opposition and the Rhodesian settlers elements had anticipated chaos in ZANU-PF after the unceremonious departure of Robert Mugabe. It did not happen, this has not gone down well with the opposition.

We have people churning out the tribal card on Gukurahundi. We have people in the opposition going to the USA and EU calling for an extension of sanctions against Zimbabwe. We have people labelling and denigrating a sitting president. It is the usual election rhetoric, which does not win elections and the respect of the people of Zimbabwe. for the opposition.

The people of Zimbabwe are tired of the rhetoric from the opposition, can the opposition concentrate on winning elections. Can it stop complaining and start campaigning? The people have had enough over the years.

Who was Robert Mugabe?

                                                                                 Education

Robert Mugabe's education policies have produced accountants, magistrates, pharmacists, lawyers and engineers. Black Zimbabweans with skills are in demand all over the world and credit should be given to Robert Mugabe for creating and nurturing a robust education system.

A point to note is that Zimbabwe had one university at independence and it now has over a dozen universities. 

                                                                          Land Reform Programme
The Rhodesian settlers have called Robert Mugabe Land Reform program chaotic and violent. It is a fact that the land was allocated and distributed according to the laws of Zimbabwe. The land reform was not a failure as portrayed in the western media. Various researchers have proved that though not a huge success the land reform was not a failure.

 Previously disadvantaged Zimbabweans now have land. Zimbabweans had waited for up to 20 years after independence for land.

Britain the former colonial ruler of Zimbabwe to refused to support land redistribution, throwing peace-loving Zimbabweans into an ugly race row, going on to tarnish the image of the country contributing to an economic meltdown from the year 2000 to the present day.  


                                                                Peace
Despite attempts by apartheid South Africa and some Rhodesians to sponsor rebel armed groups just after independence contributing to the Gukurahundi disturbances, Zimbabwe under Robert Mugabe has been hugely a safe and peaceful country, contributing to ending wars in Mozambique, DRC and other African countries. Zimbabwe boasts of a well-trained security sector which has contributed to peace in the country despite years of sanctions-induced hardships.

                                                                                    Liberation struggle
Robert Mugabe was imprisoned for 11 years in Ian Smith's jails fighting for the rights of all people.Robert Mugabe took over the leadership of ZANU in 1975. He changed ZANU into a well-administered fighting machine and his leadership culminated in the surrendering of the Rhodesian settlers.

While we all agree that it is time for Mugabe to leave, it is paramount and imperative for us Zimbabweans to recognize him as an icon, a great statesman and the founding father of this great nation.

The Coup and The Sanctions Call

THE COUP

The coup (which to me was never a coup) latent strategic objectives was to stabilise the economy and to woo back the international community and allow for internal cohesion. The patent objective was to protect our national interests and to remove undesirable elements in the legislative arm of government. It was a coup carried out by the Executive arm of government with the sole aim of bringing order in the ruling party Zanu Pf.

RHODESIAN CELEBRATES

The white supremacists and their fellow kitchen niggers in the diaspora and at home anxiously anticipated that Mnangagwa incorporates Morgan Tsvangirai in his government. The white faces in that infamous march to the State House were a true show of the hatred that the Rhodesians have of Robert Mugabe. President Munangagwa made the right decision to exclude the white supremacists sponsored MDC alliance.It would have been a  political disaster to bring the sellout party into government.

 SANCTIONS EXTENDED

It is important to note that the subsequent visit and invitation to the USA Senate of the likes of Tendai Biti, Nelson Chamisa, Dewa Mavhinga and the die-hard Rhodesian Godwin is a repeat of what was done in the year 2000. The USA imposed crippling economic sanctions against Zimbabwe.

The sanctions brought about massive economic meltdown for the period 2000 to 2017. The MDC alliance has stupidly pointed out the economic meltdown as a result of Robert Mugabe of misrule.

THE PEOPLE RALLYING POINT

The people of  Zimbabwe have despite the economic meltdown remained united as a nation.

It is important that the extension of sanctions will not bring Zimbabwe to its knees as the MDC alliance wishes. The sanctions are a rallying point for Zimbabweans as seen by the reaction of people on social media.The ideas of freedom, economic progress, justice and equality have kept Zimbabweans united. Let the MDC alliance know, Zimbabweans are incredibly resilient, they will soldier on, despite the extension of the sanctions.

MDC  SCORES OWN GOAL

 It is a fact that a resurgent Zanu-PF, cannot fix the economy alone. ZANU Pf as the ruling party now needs to engage the international community. The MDC alliance is aware that they do not stand a chance come next general election, so the sanctions are a weapon against ZANU Pf and a direct act of blackmail against the long-suffering people of Zimbabwe. The sanctions are the barrier between Zimbabwe and the international community, we can not have economic progress.

The move to call for the extension of the economic sanction by MDC is an own goal!!!

THE CROCODILE AS A RISING STAR

Mr Mnangagwa who had successfully sold himself to the international community, as an uncompromising reformer given the audacious vision he pronounced during his inauguration. The vision included reigning on fiscal indiscipline, stamping out corruption and nepotism, arresting criminals and immediately revamping the economy. The MDC alliance sends their envoys to the USA because they know that ZANU Pf has outsmarted them this time around. The MDC alliance stands no chance against Zanu Pf without the sanctions blackmail.

Zimbabwe let us say no to sanctions.

Robert Mugabe The Legacy

The Legacy of a Great Statesman
Robert Mugabe legacy is his belief in his people. He believed that the Zimbabweans are capable of running their country. He believed Zimbabwean should own their national resources. He believed they are the best people to exploit and benefit from the natural resources of this country.

The economist in Robert Mugabe believed that if Zimbabweans were empowered through education first they will be masters of their economy.

Education And Health
The early years of independence Robert Mugabe's government thrust was to invest in education and health. The results were immediate and were reflected in the drastic falls in child mortality rates and a sharp increase in literacy rates.

The success of these policies is a legacy that will continuously benefit our nation for many generations in our future.We have the basis to develop world-class educational and health facilities.

Land Reform
Robert Mugabe approach on land reform policy was unorthodox to say it mildly. Nowhere in modern history has an indigenous group of people taken land legally from colonial settlers.

 It could not be done in South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Scotland, Ireland, Wales or the USA. It was so radical but politically correct, that the United Nations could not sanction Robert Mugabe on the land reform programme.

 It was left to the nations that still had settlers on indigenous lands to impose racist sanctions on Robert Mugabe the person and on Zimbabwe as a nation. Land reform is one of Mugabe's lasting legacy.

Indigenisation
The belief that Robert Mugabe has in the abilities of the indigenous people of Zimbabwe manifested itself as the indigenisation policy. This was a deliberate move to empower black Zimbabweans and make them the masters of their country resources.
The indigenisation policy is one of Robert Mugabe's legacy, it is up to us as Zimbabwean. Robert has incalculated the enterprise spirit into each and every Zimbabwean.

Peace And Security

Zimbabwe has been under security threat since 1980, especially from the former South African apartheid regime and the disempowered Rhodesian settlers. There was a deliberate move to create strong security institutions to protect our sovereignity and territorial intergrity.
It is these security institutions that have contributed to peace and security in the country.

Of Bedroom , Palace and Executive Coups

I will not say, I told you so. I am just a social commentator and I am not a prophet. The people who follow this blog have asked me to give an overview of the current situation in the country. I will assure you (especially my friends in the diaspora) we are in very safe hands of the Government of Zimbabwe. The situation is stable and calm.

I will like to tell you what led us to where we are. It started a long time ago

The Bedroom Coup

Jabulani Sibanda got fired for telling the nation that a certain woman was meddling in the affairs of the country. This was well before the youth interface rallies project.

These youth rallies had the sinister and selfish objective of pushing the agenda of individuals and character assassination of certain individuals.The youth interface rallies were the medium of transforming the bedroom coup to a palace coup. Jabulani Sibanda had the last laugh!!

 The patent objective of these rallies was for the President to meet with youths and bond with them, but the latent objective was to push the First Lady into the Presidium of ZANU Pf and subsequently smuggle her into government.It was a good scheme for the individuals but a disaster for the Nation.

 The Palace Coup

ZANU Pf support base was becoming a ball tossed between the so-called factions. Party committees would be unilateral be suspended at the whim of individuals. Parallel structures within the party were created to destroy and kill the party's procedures and due processes.

These acts were being done live at the interface rallies. Insubordination and indiscipline had become the order of the day. Direct insults were being hurled at party members at the interface rallies and subsequently be broadcasted on public media unedited.

Members of the Presidium were not spared of the insults and threats, and this resulted in the dismissal of one of them. It was a palace coup!! The interface rallies triggered the palace coup and Zimbabweans were left wondering what was happening.

The Executive Coup

It is dangerous in government for one of the three arms to interfere in the running of another. In our case as Zimbabwean, the Legislature via the so-called factions was direct interfering with the duties of the Executive.

We had a permanent secretary tossed and insulted at a youth interface rally. We had some people openly inviting the generals to shoot them! We even had babies threatening permanent secretaries of ministries and government departments!! Something had to give in!!

 Something had to be done, and the only permanent arm of Government, that is the Executive has the power to stop all this chicanery in order to protect our national interest, dignity and sovereignty. It is the Executive mandate and duty!!

The Traditional leaders And White Supremacists

The government recent statutory gesture of giving motor vehicles to traditional leaders have received negative publicity. The opposition and the so-called independent media have been at the forefront of painting this gesture in negative colours. I wish to highlight the source of the negativity.

History and Traditional Leaders

Is it about the Chiefs' motor vehicles only?

Traditional leadership was the first African institution to be attacked by the colonialist.  Traditional leaders like Kaguvi, Nehanda and Chingaira were killed in order to pave way for the colonial rule.

 The direct attack on these institutions was to weaken the indigenous belief in their traditions and leadership. The attack on the Chiefs and spirit mediums was to destroy the original systems of belief and governance and the fabric that made up the pre-colonial Zimbabwe.

The likes of Chingaira and other chiefs rebelled against the colonial settlers because the fabric of their society,  religion, land and traditions were under external threats.

It is the crushing the African spirit

External Threats

The threats to our nations today is not internal it is external,  sponsored by the very people who colonised Zimbabwe. The threats of our time are the sanctions, where proceeds of international trade of Zimbabwean companies are being ceased by the Office of Foreign Asset Control of the USA. 

The threats are in the form of cutting lines of credit from international financial institutions like the World Bank and International Monetary Fund.

The threats are the continual barrage of misinformation from the white supremacists' media propaganda from the likes of Voice of America, British Broadcasting Corporation and local sponsored tabloids.

 
The recent outcry from the media on the provision of motor vehicles to the Chiefs in these media is a knee-jerk response by the external sponsored opposition. The opposition is parroting the colonial narrative and degrading the institutions of our Chiefs.

Uprising Reloaded

It is an invasion of African space

The opposition is not only attacking the Chiefs, but they are also attacking all our traditional institutions. The attack is also aimed at the rural voters. This rhetoric has in the past caused the opposition to lose the rural votes.

The rural voters will not take the attack on their traditional leaders lightly. They will remember the opposition in the voting booth.

It will be another Chimurenga. It will be another uprise against the people who have no respect for their traditional institutes and culture.

The Ceremonial Role and Thought Leadership of Chiefs

Chiefs are not only ceremonial heads of the rural space, but they are thought leaders as well. The Chiefs just like the Queen of England has a lot of political and economic say over the welfare of their subject.

Chiefs are alpha and omega in all traditional rites, from the birth to death the rural person life has milestones that are tied to the chieftainship of the place of his existence.

It is this spiritual hold on the rural population that chiefs that the white supremacists led opposition are afraid of. The hostility was echoed at rallies by Morgan Tsvangirai in the 2013 elections campaign where he threatened to "deal" with Chiefs who supported ZANU Pf. It was a stupid thing to say at a rally, and as a result, he lost those elections.

The Land Issue and Traditional Leaders

It is about land ownership

Traditional leadership stance on the land reform program is another reason why Chiefs are receiving a lot of flack from the pro-white supremacists' settlers media. 

The land is held in trust by Chiefs on behalf of the community. Land which was reclaimed from the Settlers is now directly or indirectly controlled by the Chiefs. It is this very act that the white settlers and their sponsored supporters are not happy with.

Respect the Chiefs

The cry in the opposition camp about the Chiefs' motor vehicles is all about people who are undermining our Chiefs authority and dignity. The cry is from people who have no respect for our culture and traditions.

I am begging all citizens of Zimbabwe to respect the civic and traditional role of the Chiefs. It is our civic duty!!

The Reason for Coalition Failures

There is a great danger that the so-called grand coalition of opposition parties is not going to happen anytime soon. The coalition time is running out. The reason for the failure of the coalition are many but I have decided to highlights a few.




The Dummy Parties and Coalition

There are parties that form the opposition that are are dummies. These are parties that are like shelf companies or briefcase companies. They come into the light once an election is announced. They are set up specifically for donor money and donor sympathy.

A dummy party can only survive where there is money it does not need supporters. It might not even need a leader. Its lifespan begins when elections are announced and ends on polling day. These are parties like Mawambo or the very recently formed APA Zimbabwe created by Dr Nkosana Moyo.

We will be seeing a lot of these dummy parties in the following months.These parties add no value to the opposition cause even if they join a coalition.

The White Supremacists Money and the Coalition

The Rhodesians are still around, remember that they said, Rhodesia is forever. You will not see them directly in our elections, but their money will be in play.It was Rhodesian money that set up the original MDC in 1999. It is the Rhodesian white supremacist monies that have brought back the likes of Biti and Ncube back to the original MDC.

When the like of Joice Mujuru went to London, it was to beg for money from the white supremacists.She promised on  BBC to give them back the land, that is if she wins. She visited Chatham House to brief the white supremacists.

Here the white supremacists are confused as on whom to fund. The white supremacists usual bet Morgan Tsvangirai is sick and dying but is holding on to the MDC leadership. Joice Mujuru because of her revolutionary background, her former role in government and her character does not make her the former white settlers favourite to bet their monies on. She makes the white supremacists nervous and very uncomfortable.

The white Rhodesian supremacists' money for the coalition is definitely not coming easily this time

The Coalition of Joice Mujuru and the MDCs

This coalition of Joice Mujuru and the MDC was bound to suffer a stillbirth. The coalition is like mixing oil and water.

 The difference lies in the history of founders and foundation of the two parties. MDC was formed as a direct reaction by white supremacists settlers to Mugabe's land reform programme. Joice Mujuru's party was formed when she was expelled from the Zimbabwe People First, not ZANU pf, as some would say.

The differences go further.Joice Mujuru is a Chimurenga war veteran, while Tsvangirayi was imposed on MDC by the Rhodesians to cross-dress as a labour leader and a champion of the Rhodesian anti-land reform programme.

We will not have Tsvangirai and Mujuru sleeping in the same bed, not in this election!



The Brand name Parties and Coalition

Brand politics leads to brand tied parties.Let us start with a party called MDC-T. This a party that Morgan Tsvangirayi lead is going to die as soon as Tsvangirayi leaves it. It can not have a life after its leader quits politics.

These parties like dummy parties have very few but loyal supporters. Parties that are led by the likes of Hosea Chipanga, Egypty Munhenzva and others, can not form a coalition because they are afraid to be associated with ideologies that differ from theirs.

These parties are also afraid of being diluted and disempowered in a coalition. It is a fear that makes almost every opposition party hate to be members of a coalition.

Do we as Zimbabweans really need a coalition if we have credible opposition parties?

Lessons from Zimbabwe

SOCIAL MEDIA TWIST

 Panic buying, hoarding of foreign currency and the attempt to burn the bond notes was a direct result of social media abuse and foreign-owned interests in commerce and industry who have been opponents of the bond notes.Here Zimbabweans learnt that social media can influence consumer behaviour negatively and positively. This lesson has also panicked government to set up a ministry to mitigate effects of social media abuse.

FEAR AND PANIC
Every adult in Zimbabwe was affected in one way or another by the foreigner's attack on the Zimbabwean dollar. It is the fear of the repeat of 2008 that panicked the public into the hoarding frenzy and the subsequent hike in prices. The panic attack was triggered by professional political agitators on social media.

 Zimbabweans are a gullible lot when it comes to anything in print and the internet. Thanks to the high literacy rate, the political agitators are taking advantage. High literacy rate does not grow in tandem with financial literacy. The lesson learnt here is that financial illiteracy is a big problem and there is need for educating the masses

SYSTEMIC ABUSE

The fear of a repeat of 2008 keeps us in bondage and helps to perpetuate the very system that you are fighting against. Foreign-owned and controlled industry, the underground economy and the paid politically agitators have continued to fight against the bond notes. It is again this time there is bull run on the stock market and people are trying hard to ride on the dual listing of Old Mutual. It is not a coincidence that Old Mutual has a finger in all the listed companies. It is the benefactor of the panic buying and the attack of the bond notes.The lesson learnt here is that the foreigner owned companies that are systematically abusing our people and our economy.


LAUGHING LESSON
 On a lighter note, our conspiracy theorist buddies believe that last month's panic buying of everything was instigated by the powers that be. They say the move was to get people to bring out all that cash they been keeping out of the system. The bulk buying did indeed put money into the formal sector, but it is what the informal sector is doing with the money that the Reserve bank should ask this sector.

Still, on a lighter note, Robert Mugabe did get credit for the stabilisation of both the prices and the rates. it was said as soon as he got off the plane from New York .the prices and money rates went down.I observed it but I could not link his arrival with the fall of the prices and money rates.

THE LESSONS LEARNT

 We have learnt as Zimbabweans that just because the rates and price have stabilised, and the money changers have disappeared it doesn't mean the problem has been solved. Our fears as Zimbabweans is that are our threats are external. Our government, industry, commerce and the ordinary people should come together and work to exorcise the demon of sanctions on our country.

The panic buying and manipulation of money rates is a symptom of an economy under siege. The external trade and financial sanctions are the diseases.Let us fight for the total removal of the sanctions or let us find better means to bust the economic sanctions.

We are authors of our predicament, and we have the power to build or destroy our society and economy.
