It is important to note that this past month has been an eye-opener and lessons have been learnt. People have learnt that the freedom and peace we enjoy came at a high price. The liberation war was not a walk in the park, lives were lost, families destroyed and a country was found. This country, our country, our Zimbabwe is a product of a bloody revolution.
Defending the Revolution
On July 30, the people of Zimbabwe went to the polls to defend the revolution. The people of Zimbabwe knew what they wanted, and they voted. The people's vote was a true reflection of the wishes of all Zimbabweans. The people defended the revolution by voting for Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa.

This was a reckless and provocative move to instigate demonstrations in the urban areas where he had garnered a majority of the vote. He declared himself the President of Zimbabwe and called for the urban voters to defend their vote.
It was Nelson Chamisa belief that the very act of sending the MDC militia, the Vanguards, into the streets of Harare, would result in the reversal of the elections results.
The convert operation of trying to overturn the will and wishes of the people of Zimbabwe started as a drunken orgy at Harvest House and ended tragically in the streets of Harare. The blood of innocent people was split in the process of trying to defend lost votes.
ConCourt Circus
Nelson Chamisa's, Vanguard instigated demonstrations were successful controlled and contained by the security forces. Nelson Chamisa learnt that the illegal route of going to the State House by force was futile.
Nelson Chamisa then resorted to the option which he should have done immediately after the elections, the legal option. He should have had the ballot boxes opened and a recount done within forty - eight hours of the announcement of the elections results. This option could have exposed him as he knew he had lost the elections.

Nelson Chamisa's petition at the ConCourt was a circus. It was well that it was broadcasted live for the whole nation to expose him as a fool and a clown. The ConCourt was justified to dismiss his petition with costs.
